Please keep this young mother in your prayers.
She is the mother of 3 young girls who attends our church. She buried a baby boy born with anencephaly last summer right before Hurricane Rita evacuated our area.
She discovered last week that she has a condition known as Anti-E which attacks and kills the developing baby.
She could definitely use your prayers. Thanks!

Please continue your prayers.
I spoke to her mother after Mass today. The baby is doing fine but she had another sonogram on her thryroid and it showed signs of abnormality and has grown larger. The doctor was worried and did a biopsy. They should get the results tomorrow or Tuesday.
Please pray for her. She has three young daughters at home and is a beautiful person (inside and out).

Spoke to Jessica's mother this past Saturday while at a wedding of a mutual friend.
The doctors told Jessica that the biopsy revealed the thyroid is not cancerous...yet. It is showing significant signs of cell mutation and it must be removed ASAP.
The baby is due the first week of Aug. so plans are to take the baby 2 weeks ahead of schedule (middle of this month) and then to do surgery to remove her thyroid.
My husband mentioned that they might not have ever checked her thyroid early enough had it not been for the pregnancy. Though not a picture-perfect pregnancy, it might be a blessing in disguise.
Thank you so much for your prayers and please continue to pray for her and the baby. She's been through so much but is so strong...especially in her faith.
The family is an awesome witness to faith and life.
