Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Ladies, wanted to get your thoughts as to the best way to help a techie teen be organized. He is a laptop guy, so paper organizers are out. He does have google calendar but I find it not as effective as something that is downloaded on the PC and pops up deadlines and such to you--and it has not worked for him that well this past year. For me I like my microsoft works calendar (or outlook) that I can set deadlines and reminders on and they pop up. He has yet to embrace any method and I am determined to do what I can to let this last semester be a time of organization:) If you think he will likely need a smart phone in college and that is the best method then I am happy to hear those opinions too. Thanks!

My ds, who is not an organized type, has his google calendar synched with his iPod touch. This works great as it 'dings' when he needs to know something. He uses a paper planner for all his assignments- he breaks them down day by day. He has all that backed up on his laptop. Whew!!!! It has completely shocked me!

What has also been great is the professors that have websites on his Webadvisor account at the University.

By the way, he learned a lot of this this year, but the AP English class he had last year, which the millions of assignments, was a good stepping stone (although she had everything listed on the website).
