Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We used it the first year it came out. Then 14-year-old enjoyed it, although there were a few problems because the developer was still ironing out kinks at the time. No problems with the course itself, however.

Hi Stef - nice to "see" you again too!
Please would you share how the course works (we have never done any online classes) Do you think it is rigorous enough - does it cover everything a tradtional Biology class does? Would my boys be able to take the Biology SAT subject test after it?

Thanks so much!

Oh my, it's been a few years, Marilyn. I just visited the site and it looks like they've changed it so I don't know how it works now. Although if it's like most online class sites you get a password when you register and login that way. That will take you to the lessons, you read, answer questions onsite, do any experiments at home, report back.

As for it being rigorous, I remember comparing the contents with a couple of Biology textbooks we were considering, and some of previous science books we used here for Aisa, and it looked fine to me. As for the Biology SAT subject test, I don't know. I was just happy for someone to take over Science for me since it's my weakness. Sorry I'm not much help.

If you post the current content here, other people may be able to chime in and let you know if it's thorough enough. :)
