Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Ok, so one other piece to fill in the puzzle. I need a grammar course for DD entering 9th grade. She has done pretty traditional work (she was in parish school till 4th grade and we did Seton in 5th grade and co-op since then).

I'm looking at doing the Winston Grammar basic with DS but he's my struggling learner. I was wondering if I could just move to the Winston Grammar advanced for her?? She doesn't really struggle with grammar per se and she's a very bright child, excellent student but I would like her to complete a more formal grammar program which we've not done since 5th grade Seton which was a bear for her. I think mainly the diagramming was exceptionally challenging as well as being the 1st year I prob. didn't give her enough guidance and the text was well, dull.   She's also completed 2 yrs of IEW at the co-op so again, I just think this would be more of a way to polish and improve this area for her. ??

I was really thinking about just buying the Seton 9 English grammar but not sure that is really the best fit and then came across Winston Grammar for ds and thought maybe this would work better.

Thanks!

Kathryn~
There are "pre-tests" to do with the Winston Grammar so youcan see if she is ready for a certain level.

Oh, I didn't even think of using that for her.    I'll do that. Thanks!
