Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Can't seem to find a discussion of the Didache Text. Any thoughts? What grade did you use it with and how did your student like it?

We used it in Grade 12. My son appreciated its brevity (!), but I think he took it to heart. He's now 20, voting, in college, etc., and I can see that he is serious about making moral choices.

He used it in independent study mode (I did not present lessons to him; he read the chapters, learned vocab, answered questions, etc.).

Discussions on the series in general with several mentions specifically of the Moral LIfe book here...

Didache Series & Apologetics for Teens
Let's Talk Didache Series

We haven't used that title yet. Have used the first two and plan to use that one for 12th grade (year after next).

Thanks ladies, and for the links to past discussions too Mary. We have used Intro to Catholicism and Undersanding Scriptures but honetly feel that we have done a lot of church history and so I was thinking of going to Moral Life for junio year and then doing some other living books and apolegetics for Senior Year.

My dd was 17 at the time she used it. Very solid, covered some real 'today' topics. I'm insisting that all my children use this prior to leaving home, want to be sure that we've covered all areas.
