Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hello wise ladies. With the upcoming election next year and the economy being a hot topic, I was planning on taking a break from our history 4 year cycle with my 10th grader to do Government and Economics next year--I see that such classes are often saved for senior year. Is there any good reason I cannot do these for a sophmore? I will be using Penny Candy and other living books for econ and probably have him do a homeshool connections for government as well as living books. Any thoughts?
