Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We are starting to look into high school options for ds.
I am going to look a most options available to us, including our public school. Though I really don't want to do that I figure I should give it a try.
I have a few questions I am going to ask all the schools but am wondering what else might be good to check out--for those that have done this before me.
I would love ds to shadow a day, and also one of us parents--his idea of the school may be different than ours They might not let parents as it might be disruptive to classes?
I can look up state test scores but are SAT/PSAT score stats usually kept?
Other stats I am interested in include graduation rate and college attendance.
What subjects are available? Art, foreign languages, music, etc. are important to me.
How do the semesters work? Block schedules with math only a half year scare me
I am wondering if they are flexible enough to let ds out to do his music classes he is currently taking.

Any ideas from others who have done this before would be greatly appreciated.
