Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Is she going to college? She might appreciate a backpack (daypack) for her books, or items for her dorm room (iron, microwave cookware, laundry bag, shower caddy).

Nice jewelry is always appropriate for young ladies.

If she's planning to live independently with roommates, cookware or a nice cookbook would be great!

IMHO, money or gift cards (like to place like Pottery Barn where she can get bed sheets, towels, etc. for dorm life) are always welcome.
