Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We started Giancoli's Physics Principles with Applications - but I don't think it will be a good fit. It is driving me crazy ( I do the textbook and problems too). Too much is assumed - even though we had saxon physics last year. I spent way too much of my sunday on chapter 2! So we are switching to Apologia Advanced Physics. Now I know some here don't like apologia - but it is meant for homeschoolers so I think I will have less problems with it - since it is written to be more of an independent study. I think the only way to do Giancoli's book would be to have a tutor which we don't have. Anyone else have a similar experience or comments. I just hate second guessing myself - wondering which is the best decision!
