Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

HI Everyone,

My ds #2 wants to continue studying Latin in the Fall. We have been enrolled with MODG this year, but are not re-enrolling for next year. Ds did Latin 1 through MODG this year in 8th grade and did the course with a Teacher's assistant, which I really need since I don't know Latin. Have any of you had any experience with single course enrollment for Latin 1 with either Seton or Kolbe? Has anyone taken one of the Memoria Press Latin online courses?

Thanks so much in advance!

Tea,

My dd took Henle I with Seton. (I don't know if you that is the course you mean). It was difficult, but we always find Latin hard. I think this one was harder because we didn't have a DVD for help. Those LC DVD's are very helpful. They have an online course for this with a few extra helps. (Seton) That said, I am looking at MP for my son who needs to take Henle I. There seems to be more help from the instructor than with Seton. (although you can call the counselors anytime with Seton, they just don't have a set time they help students like MP)
