Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi, Does anyone know of a high school level book that has engineering hands on projects in it. Not a text book and really more then labs. I think we are looking for what my son can make. He has had physics and is looking for things to do. Hope this makes sense!

I really like this book that I've pulled a few beginning concepts from for my boys. There are mainly high school level projects. My library has it:

The art of construction : projects and principles for beginning engineers and architects / Mario Salvadori ; drawings by Saralinda Hooker and Christopher Ragus.

Also, the site Building Big is very useful. There's a lot online, but also a book, activity/project book and video series. This was a PBS series. My lib carries this stuff too.

I don't know if this is exactly what you are looking for, but the books "Backyard Ballistics" and "Whoosh, Bang Splat" (or something like that) have some excellent projects in them and go into good detail about the concepts behind the projects. My ds has them both and the projects have a range of difficulty from fairly simple to very challenging.

My ds14 is currently using The Art of the Catapult by William Gurstelle to build a BIG ballista. So if your son would like to build a ballistae, a Roman onager, trebuchets and other ancient artillery this is the book for you.
