I told dh I would ask here as I;m sure between you all someone would be able to head me in the correct direction.

Dd15 has expressed and interest in a career in the publishing industry, proofreading, editing, layout she is open. Basically her interest is reading and I mean a serious interest, she is a speed reader so this is probably not a surprising direction for her to take.

Can anyone give us advice as to where to direct her, what areas we should be concentrating on etc? How can she find out more information about publishing?
