Our homeschool youth group includes middle school and high school and the kids would really love to have a movie night.
The problem is there are some parents who are so strict about what they allow that we literally are comming up blank for possible movie suggestions.
I would like to get some movie suggestions from you dear ladies and your children in that age bracket that I might be able offer as possibilities.
TIA!

Our last teen movie night was the Chronicles of Narnia. No one had an objection to that one. We watched the movie and played a trivia game afterwards about it that I found on-line.

I would think Pirates of the Caribbean would be fine for that age range.
I am trying to think of others that I let my 11 yr old watch that my 16 yr old would watch too.

I don't know how strict the parents in question are, but you might consider going to a site like Kids In Mind and "List By Rating" You can limit S*x/N*d*ty, Violence/Gore, and Profanity and select by MPAA rating.
For example, select 0-1 for the above categories and G, PG for the MPAA rating to get 41 movies such as "The Big Green", "Emma", "Little Giants", "Little Women", "The Muppets Christmas Carol", "The Preacher's Wife", "The Santa Clause", "Searching For Bobby Fischer", etc. It doesn't guarantee good movies, just clean, non-violent ones.
Play with the ratings to find movies that are acceptable. Have fun (and good luck!)
