Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Can anybody recommend some upbeat Catholic (or non-controversial Christian) music CDs for teenagers?   They like rock and pop; and I would like to introduce them to some new artists, preferably Catholic, this Christmas! Thanks!

Thanks for that recommendation. Glad to see he's Catholic, too!

I was at Catholic Music Network, trying to listen to some samples before posting here, but most of the ones that I selected weren't too upbeat. I know some songs that we cannot listen to *could* be the upbeat ones, which is what prompted me to ask for help!

Any other names would be appreciated! Thank you!

I clicked on the link for Matt Maher, he is going to perform at the Right to Life Rally in DC in Jan. That is pretty cool!

Here is another Catholic site to browse music. You can listen to a LOT of artists on here, and there is a lot of Matt Maher's music on here too if you want to pre-listen.

Spirit & Song

Click on the "Music on Demand" tab and different playlist options come up, where you can listen.
