I'm thinking of hosting a read along through the great books on my homeschooling weblog. My eldest daughter, Cate (15) will be starting them in just a couple of weeks. Would anyone else's child like to read along?

If I do that one, I'd also like to do a read-along with the Harvard Classics (my son is going through those this year) with Jr. High, and I'll post our read along books for grades 1 and 5 as well, if you'd like to submit narrations and opinions from yourselves or your children...

Just a heads up to let you know that we'll be starting in a couple of weeks. I also wanted to ask - for those of you who would be unable to obtain the books (GBWW and Harvard Classics)- if you would find it helpful for the books to be recorded?

Michaelmas marks the start of our school year here at our house. I'll be posting the first book and a date for our first live chat. If your child would like to participate in the live discussion, I need to have an email address to register them for that.

They will receive an invitation to participate and may choose to text chat or to call in live. The talk cast will also be recorded as a podcast and posted on my weblog and possibly also at Partridge Hill Media Network.
