Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm a little nervous about doing the high school thing next year. This is what I've come up with as far as a curriculum. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sam's 9th grade curriculum.

OK, I'm also having a hard time finding a list of "living books" for high school, but I did find this list that looks very thorough for high school.

High School literature list

Any thoughts?

Am I in the wrong category for this forum?

Elena,
You're in the right place . I haven't put in my thoughts because I'm still thinking my own plans through and have not put pen to paper.

I have a senior this year attending the local high school and an eighth grader here at home. For the past two years I've pretty much let him attend to his own schooling. Very unschoolish with a MODG framework and books.

This year, and the next four, I really need to take an upper hand in his education. The math is my biggest concern and that will either have to consist of a tutor or an online tutorial.

I'd definitely be interested in an online tutorial if you find one. I have found a math tutor for $20/hour and I hope that works out. If he only came twice a month that would be a big help!

Looks like a nice list, Elena!

The Sonlight curriculum is a much used booklist in our house - might have some suggestions for living books to go along with your history spine.
