Provides online learning of Faith and Life curriculum (and others). Anyone see this? What do you think?

Even though I have the texts for 7th and 2nd it is tempting me. Am I nuts?

When they first announced this in late spring, we had a short discussion but no one had used it yet.
My Catholic Faith Delivered
I did end up registering for my 9th and 5th graders. We already had the Faith and Life textbook, so he does a combo of computer and book. For high school it is the Didache series. For 9th grade it should be the Catholicism text but the textbook was being revised and wouldn't be available online until this January, so we opted to do what is considered the 10th grade text - Scripture. (We'll do the Catholicism one next year.)
Overall I really like it, especially for the high school/Didache class. The interactive materials, especially the videos are really nice addition to the study - something you wouldn't be able to do with just the text. For the Faith and Life class it is nice because he can do do pre- and post- assessments online as well as including some nice interactives. It definitely doesn't offer as much extra stuff as the Didache classes and no videos, but since the cost is the same as the text book, I don't mind.
The only problem we have had (and it's getting better) is some trouble accessing it online, depending on the time of day. Sometimes it won't let us advance to the next section and will drop us. This seems to be a volume of users issue, which was really frustrating for awhile. You do have to have some specific computer system capacity as well.

We used it for 3rd grade and 6th grade. Now we're back to just the books and discussion, as the kids prefer. It was convenient for those days when Mom is too busy to sit down and go through entire lessons with them.... but I also missed the one-on-one interaction that makes religious education in the home so much fun and enriching... it's one major way I bond with the kids spiritually. Having them do stuff online kinda took some of that away from us.

I agree with Stef about the one on one interaction, but for my learning disabled son, using the audio feature is very helpful. And the visuals help keep his attention.

I'm excited to try this for my highschoolers next year. I'm hoping to still be able to do some one and one with them by just adding that they do some narration with me after they do the lesson online. That's what we do now basically.
I wonder what the Theology of the Body for teens is like?????

We are using this for 2nd, 4th and 6th grade this year. The kids are really enjoying it, and they seem to be paying more attention to the screen than to me  However, I am missing the family time sitting around the table talking about the lessons. I do still do First Holy Communion instruction with my second grader, and since that can be rather time-consuming, it's one of the reasons I decided to try F&L online this year. I'm not sure if we'll continue or go back to the books next year.

We are finding that since we are still doing a combo, we have nice opportunities to discuss and still do parts together (I'm supplementing the 5th grade anyway).

It's that planning time and I'm leaning towards doing this for my dc next school year.
How long are the lessons? The F&L and the Didache lessons?
