Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My oldest online friend Evann has opened her Virtual St. Joseph Altar which is such a work of art. Be sure to browse the entire site, as it is chock full of information, recipes, etc. on the St. Joseph Altar or St. Joseph Table.

What she has new this year on her coloring pages is a .pdf file of a Mini 3-D Virtual St. Joseph Altar that you can color and cut and decorate your own way. Share your pictures with her and she'll post them on Virtual St. Joseph Altar Blog.

For more links and info on the St. Joseph Altar, see last year's thread. I also have a post on my blog that includes links to the Loveliness Fair from a few years ago and some files of information which you might find helpful.

Catholic Culture also has quite a few recipes used for the Altar, and Activities that explain the tradition.

I noticed she had opened the site this weekend. It looks great.

Our homeschool group is planning to do a real altar and potluck event at the church this year. We are really excited and hope it is successful. It's hard to know the first time you do something. So would love to hear what has worked well with a big group event - any activities etc. to engage the children would be especially appreciated as I think we have the altar blessing and food parts set.   Thanks.

No advice but a bit of envy ... wish we could be there! Prayers for it's success!
