I am always so inspired by nearly every single Real Learning Blog entry I read. I have an idea inspired by
this post from Kristina to write weekly, during the month of November, 10 things I am thankful for. Would anyone like to join me in making this a 'carnival' of sorts? I've never hosted anything before, so I may have some questions, I'm an eager learner! Let me know!

Okay, great! I'm thinking "Thankful Thursdays, 10 Things I am Thankful for this Week."
Post it on your blog and send me the link and I will compile all of them on mine. If you send them by Wednesday nights I can have it all up sometime Thursday. This is just for the rest of November.
If you don't have a blog but wish to participate, I can post your list on my blog.

Fabulous, Lisa. I actually started working on my list yesterday, thinking that Kristina's post would make a great meme as we head toward Thanksgiving...but this is an even better idea! 
If pulling it all together ends up being too much work for you to do each week (although I know you have nothing else to do  ), just let me know and I'll host one of the Thursdays .

Thank you so much for this great idea.
Reading all of the carnivals are wonderful, yet since my blogging habits are erratic at best (hence the name Yesterthoughts  ), I have only ever participated in one.
I am so glad that I already have a post to contribute to your carnival!
I like that it will be weekly for November. Here's to Thankful Thursdays!

What a wonderful response this has been getting! I have each of my children making lists on our homeschooling blog, my husband posted one there also. This has put me in such a positive frame of mind today, focusing on the good things! Thank you all!

These have been a joy to read. My hands have been so full the past few days that I've not been able to blog at all, but I look forward to joining you next week. For now--the baby is finally asleep (feels like the first time in three days ) and I am very, very thankful. I'm also sticking to the promise I made myself and going to bed instead of staying up at the computer . Great, great carnival--I'm thankful for you!

I would really REALLY love too, but my mouse is broken and I can't right click a thing!! That would make is very difficult for me to host it. Is anyone else willing to do it? I'd hate to skip this week.

Oh, Lisa, I am sorry to hear about your mouse! 
I was planning on doing a Thankful post tonight. I hope someone volunteers to host in your place! Was anyone else planning to do a Thankful Thursday post tomorrow?
Maybe we could post our links here in this thread and then whoever ends up hosting tomorrow can just scoop them up?
If no one comes forward, Lisa, I can do it at my blog. I just don't want to take over!

Just saw this...I'll do it, although I'm not exactly sure what I'm getting into...I may have a few questions for you experienced hostesses before I can post.
It will help that I'm 6-9 hrs ahead of most of you. Just send me your links tonight while I sleep, and I'll try to pull them together in the morning while you sleep.
I'm going to open a new thread to make sure everyone knows to send their links to me.
