Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My husband found this article on homeschooling and was really impressed by it. He said after reading it, it almost makes you wonder why people would send their kids to public school!

Thanks for sharing this, Cindy!! It's one to file away for those days when the kids are fighting and not doing their work.....when you start threatening to call the public school across the street to say we're on our way.
In short, it sums up ALL the reasons why I'd never go back. Even the worst day of homeschooling is better than any day they ever spent in school (I stand corrected; my daughter says that some of the "field trip" days were pretty fun!).

Hugs,

Thanks Cindy, this is a great article. Definitely food for thought, as Laurel says "on those days when the kids are fighting and not doing their work"

THANKS so much for sharing.
