Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My goal is not to be rigorous! We have very much enjoyed the last several Advents, when we have put many of our regular studies aside and just enjoyed family time and wonderful books. But as my children get a little bit older, I'm wondering how to incorporate a little more into our Advent study. They have done the copy work and many of the crafts... Do any of you incorporate something of just a bit more substance? Would you mind sharing, please? Thank you!
