Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I thought this connected to our recent discussion on hard books, but I'm starting a new thread.

Twaddle too often

In it, she links to an older article that I believe is one Mackfam recently quoted from, What is twaddle?

Oh, I just love this article! I had my 11 year old read it because we were just talking about this in refernce to a series of books he was reading. I wish that I had read this before I had kids. Our life would be so different (and better)!
