Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I am thinking about next year for my dd who will be in K. I really like FIAR and did it some with my older dc many years ago. But I also like the booklist in Real Learning, and the way it is arranged seasonally. So, my question is, how much overlap is there between the two booklists, and would it be a good match to "row" according to the Real Learning schedule? Please pardon my ignorance, but I no longer have FIAR to look at and compare booklists, and I don't want to order it if it won't be a good match.
Another question. I've forgotten since it's been so long (maybe 8-10 years) since I used it, but how much planning and prep time is involved with FIAR?
Oh, and here is a challenge...how can I fit some Montessori-type activities into the plan as well?
Thanks!

Theresa,
I have just a minute but there is a good deal of overlap. What you described above is pretty much what I do.

Thanks, Elizabeth. I just ordered your book, btw. I've been borrowing it all this time and just remembered that I need to return it and get my own copy!
Now I'm off to the FIAR site to look that over some more!
