So I'm jumping back into Charlotte Mason. I tried it with my boys but I was not so good at wrapping my head around it at the time. I really, really want to do it this time around (yeah I get to do this all over again!! ) with my girls. I definitely want to do notebooking. My 7 yo is very artistic and I know she would just love that.
What are your favorite sites for notebook pages? Is Notebooking Pages the best place? Is buying the treasury (&75) worth it?
Thanks!
Blessings!

I bought the treasury membership and it is definitely worth it! Some of the notebooking packages are 200 pgs. long, filled with tons of different pages for copywork, illustrations, etc. If you are going to be serious about notebooking I would for sure go with the membership.

I think it depends on what you imagine yourself studying. Notebooking pages has a lot of Nature Study and generic stuff for copywork, but for the categories covered, I think that I prefer the history scribe pages. They are more comprehensive and a bit cleaner in their layout.
I'm not knocking Notebooking Pages, but there are other options, too, that are not quite so expensive (for the $8 for each of the history scribe series, you get a LOT of units that are very comprehensive). I would look over the subjects covered and compare that to your plans and how you imagine yourself using them.

I really like NotebookingPages and Notebooking Nook. I didn't get the treasury because just before they came out with that option I had bought a whole bunch of their sets, so I alreeady had most of what I wanted from them. If I hadn't done that, I would think the treasury would be a good deal. In fact, as they add more and more pages, I am considering getting it anyway. I need their middle ages and modern times sets soon, and if they add American History by next year I will definitely get it.
Notebooking Nook sets are very inexpensive, especially when they go on one of their frequent sales, and make a nice supplement to the NotebookingPages sets.

I have the treasury and am happy that I finally am doing something, it suited where I am at the moment to just buy something to make me start. Having said that I don't think the pages are necessarily 'out of this world', for example, we have been doing Middle Ages and I am disappointed there are not more options. There a just a few page options (ie, lines, pic spaces, more lines, less) with the words Middle Ages across the top.
If I had more energy I'm sure I could have scouted around for more specific pages, Jimmie's Notebooking Fairy is a place I've found since. Gong to check out the other suggestions, thanks

Erin, have you checked back in lately? They just released a whole new set of middle ages pages. They should be included in your treasury membership.
