Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi Friends! :o)
I remember reading at one time about google searching for school type lessons/educational resources online. And someone mentioned that you can type something in the search engine along with the topic you’re searching that will allow the search to be only *educational sites* that come up.

I’m not sure which list it was on, but was wondering if any of you might have heard of this, and what it is you need to type in?????

        Thanks so much!

Tracy,
I am not sure what you are talking about. However, I do know that if you use prolifesearch.com, you basically get a "safe" google search and somehow raise money for the prolife movement.

Tracy,

I second the recommendation of prolifesearch.com, but is it possible that you are thinking of Google Scholar at http://scholar.google.com ? Maybe not and I haven't used it myself enough to say whether it might be helpful to you, but it's the only thing that came to mind when I read your question.

Okay, I've been searching and I came up with these possibilites:

Search Google "Reference>Education>K-12"

Search Google "Reference>Education"

Search Google "Reference > Education > K through 12 > Home Schooling"

Hope this helps.

Thanks SO much for your help. I didn't even realize that Google had a directory.

What I ended up finding (thus far) that the best way to search for school related material, is to put in what you're searching for in the REGULAR google directory, then to put K-12 after it.

I found that to be even better than to use any of the directories for some reason when I was testing them all out. I'll have to keep using that to be able to remember it though.

Thanks again for your help!!!
