Hi everyone,

My dd 13 loved Ancient Egypt when we looked at it, when she was younger. She has always wanted to go back and research it a little more in depth and especially Cleopatra.
(We are beginning a unit of work studying women in history. Cleopatra being the first in our series.)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Diane Stanley wrote a book about Cleopatra that my daughter and I really enjoyed. It included quite a bit of detail about her life and all of the drawings are done in mosaic form - very nice.

I mentioned to my friend today, that we were going to look at Cleopatra, She said I have a book by Diane Stanley, and it exactly the one you suggested, so thanks.

I have just been to the library so we now have many books to read and put a unit study together with.
