I have the year mapped out! Its very basic, and with this format, I am hoping to get the older children to be more responsible for their daily recording of work.
I really have been doubting my move to a more "living" learning style, but I think I can do it! I really think the children are going to like this better than what we have done in the last few years. There will be some groaning regarding history, because I have decided to use the history thinking questions in the textbook to substitute for the bulk of their writing (since I have not yet found any creative writing thing I think is do-able for teacher mama) BUT....NO TESTS in history they should applaud that!!
Now that the basics are set out, we can begin when we get back from our camping trip!
thanks ladies, for the witness and encouragement that I CAN do this, and other moms of big families have done this!

Happy dance! (Think Snoopy dancing in the Peanuts comic strips...such pure joy!)
