Somewhere, and I can't remember where I read it now, there were more than a few reviews that didn't care for The New Way.... Just throwing it out there, and I hope my memory isn't off... I'd read the reviews on Amazon first. I can't compare for you - sorry. We had the original on our shelves as a hand-me-down from my mom's days of homeschooling my brother and sister so that's what I'm using.
