I've been looking for more Reggio-inspired blogs, as well. There's Theresa's blog, Lapaz Farm.
Blue Yonder is a new favorite of mine. I don't think she's Catholic, though. I hope we can dig up some more- I love reading Reggio blogs.

I absolutely love love love Camp Creek, she is just an awesome blogger and so inspiring! Blue Yonder is always lovely and they have the cutest little book of days Does anyone have this??
And Sarah, I didn't know you were blogging!!!!  Fun, can't wait to check it out!
I am truly intrigued by the Reggio philosophy, much as I am about Montessori. I think it would be a nice extension of Montessori for older kids as I still can't truly wrap my head around Montessori for kids over the age of about 10????
Anyhoo, I'd love to see links for other Reggio blogs too, and I'll bet Lori would love to know about 4Real if she doesn't already

Meredith- I got my copy at the Pierce County Library. I bet if you put in a request, the King County system would buy it... or are you in the Seattle Public system?
I do have the Book of Days! I've just purchased the Summer 1 book, and haven't had much time to dig through it yet, but I think it looks very promising. We may use each month's installment as a jumping-off point throughout the next year. I just love her little sketches.
(one more thing, Meredith- my friend Meghan came and talked to you at the NW conference- she's letting me peek through your Mondays with Mary - what a delight! I can't wait to put some of your ideas into practice.)

I'm in Seattle system, so I'll check on interlibrary loan...and that is so nice of you to say about my book. I really enjoyed talking with Meghan and was so bummed that you couldn't be there, but hey, we're not that far apart!!

Meredith, I think Reggio and Montessori work wonderfully together. You can definitely tell in ideas like "the environment is the third teacher" that there was a Montessori influence. I don't agree with *everything* that comes out of Reggio, but I think it is mainly very complementary to the way we work.
(As an aside I've been doing a lot of thinking/reading about Montessori for ages 12-18. I keep thinking that I'll start a thread on it... I just need to get around to it!)
Ok, back to blogs. Maybe we could expand to good Reggio sites as well? The College School in St. Louis has some interesting pictures of their atelierand lays out the stages of their art curriculum. They use the Reggio approach in early childhood, kindergarten, and first grade (I think.) Oddly enough, when we lived in St. Louis this was the only school we considered sending our oldest to... but the cost! Ack!
St. Michael School (also in St. Louis) has all their newsletters online. In their newsletters they document projects undertaken by their classes. They apparently use a Reggio approach for all grades. Lot of free info there!

Oh, thanks for the links Angela, I'll check them out. I am most intrigued about the inquiry/project style of the philosophy, but it's nice to see all aspects of an idea to see what parts might fit with our gang
And I'd be interested in your ideas about the older Montessori possiblitlies

I have checked all the libraries in Australia and not one has Reggio books, I'd have to request from college libraries and they charge $12!
