On my learning notes blog I have a sidebar of 4 Real Members Learning Notes Blogs. I don't get to peek often but it is nice to do so when time is willing.
I thought I'd include what blogs I have for anyone interested. If I'm missing yours and you would like to add it please do so

Plan to have much more on there as the year goes by.

I blog about homeschooling at Sunshine Academy. I usually go in fits and bursts . . . I'd like to keep better track this year through the blog, but we'll see

Well, here's mine...
Susan's Country Diary.
ETA - After reading Theresa's question, I realized that, for me, it made more sense to simply have one blog so I've changed the link here. If anyone has added the other link to their blog, please change it. Thanks.

Mine is Show Your Work. I've been a bit remiss with it over the summer, but hope to get back to posting regularly.

For those of you with two homeschool-related blogs, can you tell me what are the advantages of having a separate learning notes blog? I am just curious as it sounds like double the work to me, but I must be missing something as so many of you do have two. I wonder why you don't just intersperse learning notes with your regular blog?

Theresa, speaking for myself, it's not double the work since it's no more work to run two blogs than one (assuming I am not blogging twice as much, that is!)
I like to have a place where I can jot down quick thoughts and ideas without worrying too much if it isn't really interesting for a general audience.
My other reason for having separate blogs is that it helps me keep things straighter in my head. I've thought about combining my blogs but that's what keeps me from doing it -- my two blogs have such different purposes and tones that for me, it would be muddling to sit down to write and try to figure out what I was trying to do, post by post.

I just split mine because I really don't like all my posts running together. In all honesty, I would have preferred the option to make separate pages on the one blog and separate them out. Instead, the learning notes will have their own blog to separate them from the rest of the stuff

Because my learning notes are boring, Theresa. They're really just my log, which I keep online so I won't lose it and because I can print it out in a nice, neat format. My entries over there are along the lines of: "Read 2 ch. of x book, G did Saxon lesson xyz, K wrote a poem..." etc., etc. Legally, I don't *have* to keep a log, but I do have to write up quarterly reports which are so much easier if I know exactly what we've done every (or almost every) day.

Well ladies I decided to give you a once off offer Here is my learning notes blog Seven Little Australians Living and Learning I share it here in answer to your question Theresa. As Angela says it is a more 'boring' blog, the nitty-gritty that really I doubt many people want to read, also I include pages of books the children read and the REAL talk. I'm sure I have a post in there stating, "I ran into the bush today and cried, I really wonder whether dc would be better off in school" You know THE TRUTH the bad and ugly are included there. And me thinking aloud and planning not having to polish and wondering whether family are reading. Truthfully I don't mind you ladies reading as you relate but non-hsers, not really, KWIM? Also I use the dc's real names and dh doesn't want that on a more public forum.
