Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We've been slogging through Building Thinking Skills books (yes, the SAME books) for the past ... oh ... three years or so. Even I'm bore by the pages upon pages of puzzles. I was looking at Revenge of the Spiders (scroll down and click to look at individual titles) and thinking perhaps that this might be more fun than books? But then I have to ask, do the kids retain what they learn? Can someone who has one or two of these CDs review it for me?

Tina, we've been slowly going through the Bluedorn's The Thinking Toolbox: Thirty-five Lessons That Will Build Your Reasoning Skills this year. It is a great book, easy to do very short lessons that still contain very pertinent info. I've never taken a logic class before, so take that into account but I'm glad I won this book as dd really does enjoy it!
