Is there anything out there that is Catholic, secular or at least not anti-Catholic, for the sixth grade and under set?

Dh and I discussed last night that the way things are working right now is probably not in anyone's best interest...although sending them to school seems like an even worse option! We would like to investigate online or video schools - something engaging where the bulk of the teaching is off my hands, for now. I don't even know where to start though, for something that wont be a detriment to their faith. We are fine with teaching that part, and don't necessarily need it included in the curriculum.

My ds is going to be in 6th grade next year and we had the very same conversation. So I hve decided that he is going to use k-12 program (www.k12.com).
I have some Catholic friends that have used it and some are sill using and there is no red flag on the program.
There is also a yahoo k-12 support group.

Here is a Catholic site for online classes:

LPH Online Courses for Catholic Homeschoolers

I know of some Catholic families in my homeschool group who use K-12.

Oak Meadow has an online curriculum, I think, and I seem to recall that Calvert might also. I know those are secular.

I know AOP has online stuff too, but that would be Protestant and I don't know if you would run into anti-Catholic stuff, but it is likely.

http://www.reginacoeli.org/ has a junior school, but I don't know the name of it. http://time4learning.com/ is also a popular option, although more of a supplement. You probably could pull from a few different sources and put together a good program of your own.

We have used LPH for Music Theory when our boys were younger and loved it. Maybe a few courses at Seton Home Study...maybe writing and math?

Also, Mother of Divine Grace School sells syllabi for each grade level and they are lovely with lots of literature. We have used them A LOT and you could use the syllabi with or without enrolling:) You can only enroll on May 1st if you would like to enroll:)
