Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I was wondering if anyone in here is doing Sonlight AND Real Learning? How do you incorporate Real Learning into a Sonlight curriculum?

Thank You,

Elizabeth

Hi, Elizabeth!
I did Sonlight and Real Learning for years. Basically, I used the Sonlight reading list and the order of the reading and then, pursued our own rabbit trails from there. The children narrated all the books, either in their own writing or by dictating to me.

This is an "oldie" thread from when the boards first started, but very comprehensive in the discussion from some who have used Sonlight in a Real Learning approach.

Sonlight

Thank you so much for both of your responses. Wow! I never thought the AUTHOR to Real Learning would respond to my question! To quote Potter's Mr Jackson, "Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!"

I will be diving into the old Sonlight thread.

Blessings,

Elizabeth
