Does anyone know if it is legal and/or ethical to share downloaded materials, such as those purchased from Hands of a Child or Montessori for Everyone? My understanding is that I purchased the file of these materials and I may print them for my own use.

What about allowing a friend to use these files? Is that a violation of copyright laws? Or, is it like purchasing a reproducible book, where you may reproduce it as much as you want, as long as you are not selling the reproductions? Any ebook publishers out there want to enlighten me??

I also know Lori at Montessori for Everyone has copyrighted all her pdf materials so I wouldn't share them outside your home school either.   She does offer wonderful Free Downloads with some beautiful materials that maybe your friend would be interested in looking at

I've wondered this one before too. Does that also mean that once you've a paper copy in your hand your friend couldn't READ the paper copy? I've understood that they couldn't USE it but could they READ it?

Thanks Meredith! I can use the apple life cycle cards b/c we're rowing How to make an Apple Pie and see the world and then i can also use the Pumpkin life cycle cards for Thanksgiving. I'm going to have bookmark the site!
