Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm giving the Main Lesson idea another try. I posted about it on my blog, and I plan to update as we go.    Today is the first day, and so far, so good!

Emily, I have been reading your blog for a few weeks now but never knew it was yours. I have been enjoying your thoughts on Waldorf as they mirror my thoughts as well. We seem to be on the same road as far as Waldorf goes. I love certain aspects of Waldorf but do not want to go whole hog on it as it does not mesh well with my worldview.

I am glad that you are trying the main lesson block again. I love your plans. They sound like a lot of fun. I think the key is to be organized with what you are doing during the lesson block. I hope this week goes well for you. I would love to hear any updates.

Blessings,
Julia

Thanks! I'm planning on doing a daily update throughout the week, I just put up a new post with pictures of what we did today.

Organization is definitely the key--I tend to just want to jump into things, and I often drop them midway, because I didn't take the time to really plan it out. I'm made myself sit down and really plan how I want to do this main lesson, and so far, it's going much better than last time...of course, it's only been a day.

I liked your plans, too, Emily. Thanks for sharing them.
