Has anyone read this? We just finished it and it was truly the boost of confidence I needed. It is extremely funny, one more than one occasion we saw ourselves being depicted, goats running into the house the mother claiming she cannot be held responsible for details .
I love the way this book illustrates unschooling and the benefits. I would love to hears others opinions.

We own it, I think... may have given it away or something...
Anyhow. We loved it.

I read this book as well and really liked it. I really loved all the different personalities. I liked that they all managed to get along and I liked the way it showed that not all children that are homeschooled are introverts who hide in their room, but-at least according to this book-some are !

This is one of my favorite "unschooling" books---I've read it twice for inspiration!

We adored this book. I also got my children to watch my favorite film, "The Sound of Music," because we read this book together. Yee-ha!
We found this book to be a great family read-aloud.

My dd (10) and I *really* enjoyed it! In fact, my dd had been going through an "I want to go to public school" phase, but after reading this book, she seemed more positive about homeschooling
