Can anyone recommend good quality lined paper? I really do not like the filler paper that is on sale in all the stores right now. We use the lined paper for our notebooks, dictation, copywork etc.

Thanks!

Marilyn,

If you are talking about the filler paper, I've used the Mead brand of filler paper. The paper seemed thicker than what is out right now.

If you are talking about handwriting paper for the younger set, I just ordered some from Zaner-Bloser. I'm not sure about the quality of paper though. This is my first time ordering from them.

I posted about this elsewhere but I want to mention that I recently bought quite few packs of the Office Max brand wide ruled filler paper. It's on sale this week for 15 cents for 150 sheets. I opened a pack a few nights ago and was pleasantly surprised to find it is a decent quality paper. I fully expected it to be thin and flimsy but it is not. I would say it is comparable to the weight of copy paper (which is generally about 20 - 22 lb).

Trust me I deal with paper a lot (I publish planners - my dh and I talk paper weight all the time) so I know decent paper when I see it.

Now if you want something of an even better quality like 60 or 70 lb. I don't know where you can get that lined but if you make want you want into a PDF and take it to a printer you should be able to have lots of it made in that weight for a fairly decent price (shop around) and some places will also offer it 3 hole drilled.

God bless!

Thanks Mare and Michele for the suggestions. I will check Mead. I do not have an Office Max nearby - but will check it out online.

I make a template and print out paper as we need it. I buy 24lb paper in reams. It is cheaper, and well I am a bit of a paper snob. I loathe flimsy paper.
