Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Just a thought- we should all have photos of our materials- yes even the stuff you don't use and regret buying. In case of natural disaster or fire, this will make replacing your school easy if you have photos and written records of ALL your things in a firebox or safety deposit box. I live in Kansas so I'm always planning for tornados!!!

We went through the new house with a recorder after we moved in and just filmed everything. lots quicker than pictures and I didn't have to label everything afterwards because I just name things and approx cost as I film. 30 minutes tops about once a year. I have several grand at least in books alone, so I completely agree with you - there's a need for proof and compensation with insurance.

While we were on vacation, our house flooded from an upstairs bathroom. The bookshelf directly below the bathroom bore the brunt of the damage and it held most of our school books. Taking pictures of the damaged books was enough for our insurance, of course with a flood, we still had the books to take pictures of! I had kept the receipts for our books and that was helpful to show their value.
