we signed up with Clonlara yesterday and I am soooooo relieved and excited. I am so leary of any "authority" telling me how to educate that I have postponed joining until this year. After talking with the school (several time) reading through their "advice" for grade levels, I feel this HUGE burden lifted!

They appear to be on the same page with me every step of the way. They don't find it alarming at all that my 9 yr dd is struggling to read the word cat. They were encouraging, loving and very pleasant. Which is nothing shy of a miracle match for eccentric me

I am so grateful to be able to sit back, do what we think is best, and watch my dc grow and learn organically, and have an "authority" put their stamp of approval on it! How great is that???

I feel so conventional and ordered joining a charter school, I may just organize my desk and educational supplies

There is hope for the likes of me after all

Thanks for the inspiration! I may just dig out my Montesorri things and set up for the littles.....who knows, I'm getting crazy over here with all this cleaning and organizing, anything is possible
