Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

They have all kinds of pretty notebooks and binders... one made with banana fiber paper, so no trees involved, and a cute owl on the front. On the top of each page inside it has a number line from 1-31 and all the months, so you can just circle which day and month for each page (for some reason that seems really cool to me )

My best find was lined 50 page notebooks for ...... $0.37 each!
They are about half the size or so of a regular notebook. Pretty covers and made from recycled materials. i'm not sure if the price was a mistake or not- they weren't on sale or clearance.

Also- the school supplies are out- fun to look!

Oooooh, I might have to drive half an hour to beware that aisle! I think we may finally be graduating from our beloved Mead Primary Journals this year . . .

I have gone and drooled in that aisle the last three times I went to Target.

I am *not* buying school supplies this year!!

The kids are getting NOTHING, as they don't need anything, due to my being notebook- and paper-shopping-happy the past couple of years. They *are* getting planners and that's it.

Now as for OFFICE supplies -- there I mean to indulge, as I haven't in years. It's time my little nook got some pretty. I'm so tired of drab brown and black. (I have pretty Cath Kidston-like folders but that's about it.)

I am sorry to say that Big Lots also has some WAY cute office supplies.

They have round containers covered in Vera Bradley type fabric prints that have note sheets in them (you might have seen similar sheets stacked in square trays). So pretty!

Also- I picked up a set of 12 tubes of Art Pack water color paints for $3.
They might be complete junk- but my kids can have fun with a piece of tin foil and a string, so I feel sure some good will come of them. We've never had water color paint in tubes before, only in trays, so we are going to give the budget-friendly version a whirl.

I bought a couple of things - on the regular office aisle. The colored bulldog clips were too cute, and then the dry erase responsibility chart that sticks on the fridge- got it! All the school stuff was not out yet, so I am safe for now! (Well, I did buy some colored Post-its so I could try Jenn's planning method. I also bought an outside coffee table from the clearance aisle next to the school supplies - from $114 down to $35!
