I would say the IHM conference is the biggest one in my area. It is this week though so not a lot of time to plan for that one! I went last year and am going this year. It is wonderful!

The Great Homeschool Conventions are Christian, but mostly evangelical. I have gone to the Greenville, SC conference for the past two years. Two years ago, it was great. This year they made all the vendors sign a statement of faith (which was anti-Catholic) so the vendors and speakers weren't nearly as good.

I was just told that the VI Catholic Homeschool conferece this weekend is the biggest in the country. Unsure if that was among Catholic ones or not.

What is this one? I've never heard of it.

I think there are two classes of homeschool conferences, Catholic or Christian. The Christian clearly are bigger. Just our HEAV Conference is very huge, but it's everything. The more specialized you are (i.e., Catholic, Charlotte Mason, etc.) the smaller the turnout.

I have heard the MN Catholic Homeschool Conference is quite large. Might be one of the largest across USA? IHM National on is big, but I never think the numbers are HUGE.

For Catholic conferences, IHM in Virginia is probably biggest as mentioned - but it is sort of a "national" conference. The biggest of the state conferences is definitely Minnesota and I'd say it is close to the IHM VA.

I haven't been, but I've heard the one in Milwaukee is pretty big. Our IHM conference for the Chicago suburbs is pretty small, but I'm looking forward to going this year...provided I don't go into labor first.
