Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My boys have always been quick with math which is what has led my first two to take algebra in 8th, algebra II in 9th, and geometry in 10th. I'm now looking at what to do for the last two years. We use teaching textbooks for high school math and I see they only offer a precalculus after alg and geo. So far, I don't have any sons who plan to persue a math career and so this is probably advanced enough. I'm wondering if we should do a thorough review in alg, alg 2' and geo the 11th grade year in prep for the college tests and then do precalculus their 12th grade year. What are your opinions?

I'm not in your shoes yet, but is your oldest ready to take college-level math? Could you enroll them in an online college-level math course at a local college or a community college?

Precalculas is a great idea to do. Then a bit of calculus - quit a few majors in college take it and it is good to get one's feet wet in high school.
