Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Please help! DS is a sophomore. We are "design it yourself" homeschoolers and had planned to make the transcript ourselves, along with course descriptions. Now we have been told by an online college that my son is interested in (Catholic Distance Universtity) that he will need a "state recognized transcript or certification". What does that mean? I feel that he is learning a great deal and we are both happy with the way we are doing things.

I would call the college and explain his situation to them. There is no such thing for homeschooling students as far as I know. Maybe they can clarify what they want, and if they accept homeschooled students. Calling them is your best bet.

Thank you, Caroline. They do appear to be very homeschool friendly from what I have read and heard (on EWTN).
