Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

The explanation on the Teaching Textbooks website is understandable. They recommend doing Algebra II right after Algebra I, and say that in most schools Geometry follows Algebra I because Geometry is included in the PSAT.

I don't think that the PSAT is going to be a factor for us.

What have you done or what would you do?

Not a huge deal, just wondering before I place an order.

Thanks!

We followed Alg I with Alg II and then Geometry. Just made more sense to us to do it that way.
(ETA: we used MUS, not Teaching Textbooks, if that makes any difference)

I loved TT! It made high school math so much easier to handle. My dd who is good in math did not do well with MUS Algebra 2 but liked TT. I did not find MUS as understandable for me to teach either. She did Alg 1 in 8thgr at Catholic School, then Alg 2 at home in 9th because her sister was needing to do it. Then she did TT Geometry in 10thgr on her own. It worked very well.

Thanks, Theresa and Adele.

I think we'll go with Algebra II and then Geometry.
