Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi ladies,

My 14-yo is looking for an eagle project and he'd like it to be pro-life related.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

We had a few boys do something of this order.

One did a big landscaping project at a crisis pregnancy center. Another found old dressers at garage sales, refinished them, and our parish donated clothing for babies to fill them. These were donated to an unwed women's home (actually, most of the "women" were teenage girls.) And the last went to a crisis pregnancy home, and redid a room there, painted, etc., and redid furniture for it...

I hope this is helpful!
Prayers for your son and his project!

In Christ,
Stacy in MI

Thank you, Stacy! We'll pay them a visit and find out what they need.

We have one that ran a book drive to collect children's books.. and is building a bookshelf for the local women's shelter so that the kids there have access to books.

Two boys in our parish collaborated to put in a path and landscape a prayer garden dedicated to pro-life prayer. We have also had collections of various supplies for crisis pregnancy centers.

Peace,
Nancy

A great project would be to set up a little area in a graveyard for babies who have miscarried. This has been so useful to all pro-lifers in the area.
