Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

It seems my brother will/may be sending my neice to live with me so that I can challenger academically. She is currently a 9th grader in a small public school - bored out of her mind. She also attends a TLM church. It is very small with no catechsis (only 12 families and a roaming priest).

I, on the other hand, have small children (6, 4, 2, 2), need a set curriculum b/c she would be starting in January, and have no idea what would be different for her regarding faith.

I know that people who attend TLMasses, believe some things that are different from Catholics who attend non-TLM (?). Sorry the terminology escapes me. I attend Mass in English where the priests faces us .

She would want to continue learning about Traditional Catholicism, and she loves to read.

1 - do you know of a set curriculum that we could use
2 - it cannot cost a lot
3 - how do I catechize her?

Thanks

I did that! I taught my niece in her 9th grade year when my kids were 6,4,3 and newborn. It was a great year, I loved having her with me. She is a young momma now and looks back happily on that year with us.

I like Our Lady of Victory. They teach the Traditional Latin Mass in their religion courses. My 9th grader's curriculum comes from the home school enrichment program we are attending this year, otherwise I would be using OLV for his high school years.
