Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

With apologies to those of you waiting for Eric Carle, I'm sharing the first of six weeks of Beatrix Potter. My life has gotten really, really full in the past couple of days and looks to stay that way for the foreseeable future. So, I'm dusting off this study, which we did four years ago, and adding lapbooks to it. I'll revise the format as I go (the first week is here and I'll get the rest out very soon) and I look forward to your suggestions. Lissa and I wrote this one several years ago.

Eric Carle is worth waiting for IMHO... I once saw an episode of Mr. Rogers with him. It was quite fascinating!
