Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Do you just read through it with your kids? Memorize? Any thoughts?

We read through each Chapter and do the quizzes.
We chose a certain day each week that we would concentrate on this book.
My dd loved doing it this way. I would often find information that supported what was being discussed in each chapter.
That may help,
leanne

I teach a lesson first. Then we read the questions and answers aloud, discussing them. After that, we spend our days reviewing the Q & A together - I ask a question, and the child memorizes and answer the question. We never spend more than 5 - 10 minutes daily. Sometimes my child learns the questions quickly...say in a week...other times it takes a couple of weeks to learn a lessons worth of questions. We move at a comfortable pace and goal is mastery. While we're working on the memorization of Q & A, I choose a story a day from the Angel Food books that coordinate with the Baltimore Catechism lesson we're working on.

My high schooler is reading through Baltimore Catechism #3 with commentary by Father Connell and narrating commentary to me.
