Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

OK-I am actually thinking in my sleep-deprived fog (baby teething and costume construction for dd's muscial) of planning for next year. I want to bring more CM into math. We use Saxon and plan to use it again. Any suggestions? I have Family Math (which I have yet to dive into) and have access to the business math workbooks from Simply CM. My kiddos will be 3rd-6th next year. Any favorites? What about math journaling? Looks interesting but has anybody out there used it? And what about reluctant writers? (I am thinking of 8ds who is a math nut but hates to write)
TIA!

Macbeth gave a talk last year at the Family-Centered Conference on Natural Numbers and mentioned a few books. The talk is available as an .mp3 download. I remember asking some recommendations, like the "I Hate Mathematics" and Janice VanCleave's Math for Every Kid.

She also has some suggestions on her
MacBeth's Opinion

Besides the Sir Cumference series, there is also some Math Adventures by the same press.
