Goodness! I'm almost embarassed to admit to this, but it's just so funny!
We read The Spirit of Tio Fernando this afternoon. It's a really great story and we had a great time.
The funny part, well, all afternoon Mary, my 4 year old has been walking about singing "There was something in the air that night, it was so right, Fernando" 
I suppose I better take it easy on the ABBA Gold album!!

I do have to admit, too, an affinity for ABBA - I remember the year that song was a hit - it was my fav!!

love Abba. A fellow hs mom uses it to get her kids motivated to clean up the house!  I watched a silly program once and one of the 'secrets' people don't admit to is owning and loving Abba Gold.

I also own that album and love it! I put it on when I need to rev myself to clean, or something. Can't help singing every song....it gets loud around here when everyone joins in...totally infectious.
Ha!
And we loved the Tio Fernando book. (Thanks, Cay!)
They had a huge Dia de los Muertos Festival at our local Catholic Cemetery yesterday when we visited....lots of skeletons and such. The kids loved it, esp. after the book.

Phew! So glad I'm not the only one!
Jenn, I'm not real good at gauging ages for books. All of my kids down to Sam, 3, really enjoyed it. 0f course, I've got weird kids that really like "skellys" and sing Abba!
